PodPoint EV Charger review
The socket (untethered) versions are also very user friendly. With the simple "plug and play" charge procedure as standard, anyone can charge confidently using the socket and type 1/2 connection on the PodPoint. The durable material in its design ensures a sturdy safe unit to have in any suitable location. There is also an option to have a lock installed on the side of the unit to allow a locking mechanism to disable the charge point should any users need.
Keeping safety as priority, the unit boasts an on-board safety monitoring system to detect low voltage supplies and potential earth-neutral faults. This erases the need to have the dredded 'earth electrode' fitted with the Charge Point.
With the release of scheduled charging mid way through 2021, PodPoint impressed even further. This enabled them to take a leading approach in the fast growing EV Charge Point market. The scheduled charging feature enables users to plan and time charge schedules. This goes in hand with energy tariffs time usages, like economy 7 for example. Allowing cheaper charging and more control over charging from the comfort of almost anywhere.
Available in 3.6kW, 7kW and 22kW. There really is suitability for every customer needing a simple, durable and affordable Home EV Charge Point. The LED illumination on the front of the Charge Point allows users to see what state or 'mode' the unit is in. Like showing green for when the unit is in charge mode. With its use being rolled into commercial markets PodPoint really is a brand to trust going forward, a current market contender and leading the innovation of vehicle charging.
Impra Charge was pleased to offer PodPoint to customers looking for simple, easy charging. There isn't much more to say when it comes to Smart Charging, the PodPoint ticks all of our boxes and has been suitable to the widest range of customer needs. We look forward to seeing what else PodPoint intends to prove going forward in the fast paced and ever growing industry.
