BMW
745Le (2019)
The BMW 745 Le certainly exceeds expectations when it comes to luxury and now as a hybrid the biggest change for the German carmaker is the 12.0kWh battery. This provides up to 35 miles of solo electric driving. Every 745Le gets pure electric, Hybrid and Sport modes – with the latter using both the engine and electric motor to deliver impressive punch. There’s also a ‘Battery Control’ button that can charge up the battery while you're driving. BMW claim 5.1 seconds from zero to 62mph which is surprisingly quick for such a large car. The BMW 745 Le is rechargeable in around 3.5 hours from a home 7kW EV charger.
