These chargers are usually 22kW or more (3-phase), whereas home EV charge points are typically rated at 7kW (single-phase). Business and commercial installations usually require more infrastructure and, frequently, groundworks for cabling, especially in staff and public parking areas. Where grants or funding may be available, this will always be checked at the time of quotation to provide the most cost-effective solution. Such grants may include an electric vehicle charging infrastructure grant or the workplace charging scheme, depending on availability and eligibility.
Is there any funding available for workplace EV chargers?
Grant and funding options will always be checked at the quotation stage, as we will ensure any available grants can be applied for in advance. EV Charging Grants aren't always available, as they are decided by the Office for Low Emission Vehicles and subject to government criteria and approval.

Planning permission isn't typically required for the works in having an EV charger installed, though larger installations would generally require this for 75kW or more. How long does a commercial EV charge point installation take?
