Neat and compact

Tesla's original smart charger is designed to charge all EVs with a Type 2 connection. Though, it certainly matches more nicely charging a Tesla. Coming as standard in the white casing which is complimented by the LED strip that shows charger status.

Improved from the previous Gen 2 model

Lighter than the previous Gen 2 model, it is packed with more features and comes with a 7.3m Type 2 tethered cable as standard.  The Wall connector is designed to work with the Tesla app, which also allows control of other Tesla products. It is compatible with Tesla models S, 3, X, & Y, and any electric vehicle with a Type 2 charging port. 

Wall connector benefits

- All chargers are capable of 3.6kW, 7kW, 22kW as its output goes up to 48 amps, though for a standard domestic installation this would usually be set at 32 amps.

- The power sharing features allows multiple chargers to share power charging up to 6 EVs on one single circuit, whilst still allowing sufficient charge.

- Wi-Fi EV smart charger, firmware updates are sent over-the-air by Tesla, ensuring the charger is always up to date. This also includes remote diagnostics access, and usage data tracking.

- Indoor/Outdoor Compatible. Wall Connector’s durable design allows for versatile, indoor or outdoor mounting.

Power

The Tesla EV Wall connector charger is available at 7kW with an adjustable rate up to 48 amps. This makes them the perfect charger for homes, where 7kW is most common. Tesla power sharing allows multiple units to be connected on the same supply and avoid overloading the power giving you peace of mind.

Compatibility

All Tesla Wall connectors come with a 7.3m Tethered Type 2 cable. This allows plenty of room for cable reach when charging an allows slightly more than other tethered brands.

Durability

All Tesla Wall connector EV charging units are IP55 compliant and will withstand temperatures from -30°C to 50°C. They also incorporate Impact Protection through the durable material casing.

Connectivity

Tesla charging app with Wi-Fi connectivity. The Tesla app can be downloaded from the app store/ play store. The Tesla app is easy to use and helps simplify EV charging making charging simple and effective with its many features available. It allows full view and integration with other Tesla products such as Vehicle and Powerwall etc.

Reliability

All Tesla Wall connector chargers comply with local standards and UK protection requirements and are covered by Tesla’s  4-year warranty. There is also customer product support available to help any product/ app related enquiries or technical issues at www.tesla.com.

Safety

Tesla Wall connector chargers require a Matt:e or equivalent earth protection system. DC leakage detection is built in and also incorporates a RCD - Type A + DC 6mA.
