Is the Easee untethered?
The Easee EV charger can be made a tethered charger by simply using the lock function on the unit. This locks the cable in place ultimately making it a tethered unit.
Does the Easee have earthing protection?
This charger incorporates its own integrated open PEN conductor protection, i.e. no need for earth rod. This saves times and cost when having the Easee installed. This charger also has integrated RCD Type-B protection, with compatibility across TT, TN-S, TN-C and TN-C-S earthing arrangements.

Will I have to update my Easee?
Updates are conducted over-the-air without the need for WiFi thanks to the lifetime subscription 4G eSIM built in. There is also Wi-Fi connectivity available at 2.4 GHz b/g/n in case network coverage isn't great in the area. So rest assured your EV charger will always be up-to-date.
How is the Easee mounted?
This EV charger can be fixed to most solid surfaces, there is also options to post-mount for installation. The array of colours available allow the charger to suit its surroundings.
