Why it's our favourite compact EV charger

The Wallbox Pulsar Max is a smart, intuitive, and compact EV charger. This charge point provides a minimalist yet powerful setup for EV charging. Incorporating Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, this allows easy control over charging usage and efficiency. The Wallbox comes only as tethered, meaning cable attached for charging.

Benefits of the Wallbox Pulsar Max

- The Smart Scheduling Suggestions feature allows the user to control charging sessions, and schedule charges during off-peak times to save money. (These pre-set charging schedules can be adopted in just a few taps).

- The charger has a scratch resistant coating and also boasts an IK10 rating for durability. This means it's able to withstand a 10-joule impact.

- Voice controls via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant are available. Allowing you to connect to your home and control charging with voice commands.

- The unit is IP54-resistant, protecting against water and dust ingress. The unit will also withstand all weather conditions.

- The Wallbox also features in-built earthing protection for single-phase installations, meaning no earth rod is required.

- It is available in 7kW and 22kW for cables Type 1 or Type 2. Standard cable length is 5m but there is also 7m available.

Other features

The Wallbox Pulsar Max also incorporates Eco-Smart Solar EV Charging compatibility, allowing the user to harness the energy from solar PV and divert it purely for EV charging. Other features of this smart charger are Power Boost and dynamic load balancing. For added protection, the charger can measure the loads in the property and adjust charging to balance them out evenly. The Power Sharing feature can manage multiple EV chargers installed on one supply, allowing for more EV charging points. The charger can also be locked for added peace of mind while away.

LED Illumination

This charger displays an LED (halo light) indicator, which illuminates to identify the charging status. These are indicated:

Green roulette (initialization mode). Green (ready). Turquoise (standby mode). Turquoise blinking (scheduled charge ready mode). Dark blue - blinking (charging). Yellow (locked mode). White roulette movement (firmware update).

The halo light can also be programmed to only illuminate upon interaction with the charger.

Power

All Wallbox EV chargers are available from 7kW and up to 22kW three-phase. This makes them the perfect charger for homes, businesses and public charging. In-built load balancing allows you to charge multiple electric vehicles at once by sharing power across connected chargers.

Compatibility

The Wallbox EV comes tethered with option of Type 1 and Type 2 cables. This gives great flexibility when charging as Type 1 connection may be required on some EVs, though Type 2 is mostly common especially for new EVs. The Wallbox also has solar compatibility to incorporate solar energy straight to your EV charger.

Durability

Wallbox EV charge points are IP54 compliant and will withstand temperatures from -25°C to 50°C. They also incorporate IP54 and IK08 impact protection through its durable material casing.

Connectivity

Wallbox EV charging app with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. The Wallbox EV app can be downloaded from the app store/ play store. The app is easy to use and helps simplify charging making charging simple and effective with its many features available. Charge scheduling and charging rates can be managed through the Wallbox EV app.

All Wallbox EV chargers comply with local standards and UK protection requirements and are covered by the Wallbox 3-year warranty. There is also customer product support available to help any product/ app related enquiries or technical issues at www.wallbox.com.
