The Volvo XC40 Plug-In Hybrid incorporates efficiency, economy and maintains it's modern style to complete amongst other PHEV's. it's moderate electric range provides a commutable distance of pure electric driving.

There is two options available, the T4 and T5. Each have a three-cylinder 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine paired to electric motors; in the T4 the combination produces 211bhp, and in the T5 it generates 262bhp.

Both models produce CO2 emissions figures as low as 47g/km while economy is as high as 134.5mpg. Each can cover a maximum of up to 28 miles on pure electric power alone. The Volvo XC40 Plug-In Hybrid is rechargeable in around 3 hours from a home 7kW charger.

Charging has never been easier, the Volvo XC40 Plug-In Hybrid uses the Type 2 charging connector. This is the most common connector type, luckily all of our EV chargers are Type 2 compatible.
