The BMW 225xe plug-in hybrid from BMW has managed to create an MPV with an amazing combination of looks, performance, handling and economy too.
The 225xe comprises of a 1.5-litre three-cylinder petrol engine with it's 10kWh electric motor and battery pack. The performance isn't to be underrated too much as it performs a 0-60 in 6.7 seconds. It provides up to 400 litres of boot space and plenty of all round space for any passengers aboard.
Combined power is 221bhp which is more than enough for this MPV commuter run around. The BMW 225xe plug-in hybrid is rechargeable in around 2 hours from a home 7kW EV charger.
