More about the Mercedes-Benz eSprinter (2020)

Overview

The Mercedes eSprinter uses an electric motor instead of a diesel engine under the bonnet with 114bhp and 295Nm of torque, plus a relatively small 55kWh battery.

The eSprinters range comes in at around 83 miles which makes it only really suited for more urban short-haul commutes. All models of this van can charge at up to 20kW using a DC fast charger, letting you to replenish from 10-80% in two hours.

You may look to find the nearest 80kW DC charger, as this drops the time to charge to just half an hour, ideal if requiring a quick charge. Alternatively the Mercedes eSprinter is rechargeable in around 8 hours from a home 7kW charger.

Charging rates shown are typically from 0-80% this is due to decreasing charging rates after 80% set by the vehicle to preserve battery life and efficiency.
