The RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid compels a 2.5 litre petrol engine that produces 182bhp. This is thanks to the large 18.1kWh lithium-ion battery pack compacted discreetly under the floorspace.

The front is powered with 134kW (176bhp) and the rear at 40kW (53bhp) that works with the CVT transmission. The engine and dual-electric electric motors however don’t produce maximum output at the same time, so max power is rated at 302bhp.
