More about the Ford E-Transit (2022)

Overview

Ford E-Transit is based similarly to the diesel variant, though incorporating efficiency through it's lithium-ion battery pack of up to 196-miles. You will also find a 'dependable' real world range of 100 miles respectively.

There is the option of a fast charge capability allowing a 80% charge on the 68kWh battery in just 34 minutes. The slower AC charging will replenish the battery fully in 8 hours with a 3 phase 22kW supply.

The apt electric motor is fitted under the rear of the van, the rear suspension has also been completely redesigned to accommodate this. The Ford E-Transit will typically charge in just under 11.5 hours.

Charging rates shown are typically from 0-80% this is due to decreasing charging rates after 80% set by the vehicle to preserve battery life and efficiency.
