Overview

The BMW X1 xDrive 25e compacts a tidy 1.5-litre petrol engine neatly and an all-wheel drive powertrain. As usual with a PHEV, the stats are quite compelling: a BiK taxation rating of just 10%, around 32 miles of all-electric driving range, up to 40g/km of CO2 and up to 166.2mpg on the combined cycle.

This engine with help from it's electric motor can produce 0-62 in 6.9 seconds. The 10kWh battery is located in the rear giving a slightly smaller boot space. The BMW X1 xDrive 25e is rechargeable in around 3 hours from a home 7kW EV charger.
