Overview
The LEVC Taxi is a very familiar site in London, the TX is the London Electric Vehicle Companies revolutionary Range-Extender taxi. Offering trade drivers a spacious and versatile interior with a silky smooth ride, it's proved popular from launch.
The 81 miles of solo electric only compliments the journey much further and offers a much more greener approach to busy cities and towns. The 1.5-litre three-cylinder petrol engine combined with the 31kWh lithium-ion battery pack makes for a perfect combination for any cabbie acquainting many urban/ suburban journeys.
The LEVC Taxi is rechargeable in around 5 hours from a home 7kW charger.
Charging rates shown are typically from 0-80% this is due to decreasing charging rates after 80% set by the vehicle to preserve battery life and efficiency.
Charging the LEVC Taxi
Charging has never been easier, the LEVC Taxi uses the Type 2 charging connector. This is the most common connector type, luckily all of our EV chargers are Type 2 compatible.
