Overview
Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric Drive is the manufacturer's pure electric version of the newly facelifted B-Class. Three driving modes are available on the B-Class Electric Drive: Economy, which power is limited to 131bhp, Economy Plus, where 87bhp is on offer and the car will hit around 70mph, and Sport which allows for all of the 178bhp to be made available.
The said mileage with it's electric powertrain is claimed to be around 124 miles. This is thanks to it's 28kWh lithium-ion battery. It holds 178bhp and generously 251lb ft.
The Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric Drive is rechargeable in around 5 hours from a home 7kW charger.
Charging rates shown are typically from 0-80% this is due to decreasing charging rates after 80% set by the vehicle to preserve battery life and efficiency.
