More about the Nissan Leaf Mk2 (2018)

Overview

Nissan's most popular LEAF has many more gadgets, is faster, sleeker and, most importantly, capable of longer distances in-between charges.

Featuring the "ProPILOT" (equivalent to Tesla's famous "Autopilot"), is a cleverly designed feature with the "e-pedal" which means the car can come to a gentle stop through regenerative braking, without the need to press the brake - genuine one pedal driving. The LEAF comes with a battery size of 40 and 62 kWh 350 V lithium-ion respectively.

There are three configurations Acenta (40kWh), N-Connecta and Tekna (62kWh). The Nissan LEAF Mk2 is rechargeable in around 6 hours from a home 7kW EV charger.

Charging rates shown are typically from 0-80% this is due to decreasing charging rates after 80% set by the vehicle to preserve battery life and efficiency.
