Overview

The Peugeot iOn is a perfect for city driving and the rapid charge allows it to make the longer journeys as well. Based on Mit'subishi's iMiEV and one of the original full battery electric vehicles from the pre-2010 revival of the electric car.

It compacts a 66bhp electric motor that is powered by lithium-ion batteries, which are mounted under the centre of the vehicle. This is perfectly suited to cities and very small commutes.

The turning circle is said to be second to none respectively. Making it ideal. The Peugeot iOn is rechargeable in around 7 hours from a home 7kW EV charger.

Charging rates shown are typically from 0-80% this is due to decreasing charging rates after 80% set by the vehicle to preserve battery life and efficiency.
