More about the Renault Megane PHEV (2020)

Overview

The Renault Megane PHEV combines two electric motors efficiently, a 9.8 kWh battery and a 1.6L petrol engine, it delivers 160bhp, 217.3 mpg and 30 miles of pure EV only range, allowing for day-to-day electric driving.

This smart hybrid definitely performs on features and style as well. The electric motor produces around 205Nm of torque, which is plenty to help push you around town or smaller commutes.

This torque helps boost throttle response in hybrid mode, where the petrol and electric work together intelligently. The Renault Megane PHEV is rechargeable in around 2 hours from a home 7kW EV charger.

Charging rates shown are typically from 0-80% this is due to decreasing charging rates after 80% set by the vehicle to preserve battery life and efficiency.
