Overview
With it's predecessor being the 2013 Model S it's classed as 'state of the art', the 2019 Model S certainly brings more to the table and with it's hardware updates it has some great tech to offer.
You could argue it is the best electric car made to date. With a 75kWh lithium-ion battery it certainly lives up to it's expectations when it comes to range. it's power sit's at 235kW (315bhp) With a total torque of 325 lb-ft respectively.
Battery pack is stored compacted under the floorspace. The Tesla Model S Performance is rechargeable in around 12 hours from a home 7kW EV charger.
Charging rates shown are typically from 0-80% this is due to decreasing charging rates after 80% set by the vehicle to preserve battery life and efficiency.
