Overview
The LEVC VN5 range extender van is powered mainly by the 1.5-litre three-cylinder petrol engine, 31kWh battery pack and electric motor fitted at the rear.
This electric addition to it's powertrain allows for up to 61 miles of pure electric range, perfect for city driving and closer commutes. The entry-level version comes in as standard with autonomous emergency braking, driver and passenger airbags, dual-zone climate control and impressive nine-inch infotainment system.
The additional Ultima model includes a rear-view camera, luxury seats, metallic paint and compacts a 22kW AC charging system respectively. Charging at 50kW DC fast charging allows an 80% charge within 30 minutes. The LEVC VN5 will typically charge in just under 4 hours.
Charging rates shown are typically from 0-80% this is due to decreasing charging rates after 80% set by the vehicle to preserve battery life and efficiency.
Charging the LEVC VN5
