Overview

The Mercedes-Benz B250e manages to hold all features expected from the higher end manufacturer and this Electric model compacts efficiency and style. A regular household 7.4kW charger will manage to charge B-Class plug-in hybrids from 10% to 100% in 45 minutes.

Meanwhile, more powerful commercial chargers can take B 250 e models from 10% to 80% charge in as little as 25 minutes. The Economy mode lessens output to 132bhp however Sport offers the motor’s full 179bhp.

Alternatively the two Economy modes can be overridden and all the power and torque can be accessed by the driver using the kickdown pedal. The Mercedes-Benz B250e is rechargeable in around 5 hours from a home 7kW charger.
